Three years ago I interviewed my father on camera about his fascinating life. I am so glad I did. A year later he died and it was a huge shock for my family.
However, we have something very special to remember him by; a reflective and emotive conversation full of wonderful stories, warmth and wisdom.

I am an award-winning journalist & film-maker who has been interviewing people for nearly 20 years.

For me, an on-camera interview is more revealing. The questions matter. The right question can produce a poignant, telling response. These conversations are sensitively handled and interviewees open up a lot more when it's not a member of the family asking the questions.

Believe me, it's one of the best things you'll ever do.
